What Daryl does

Daryl is an AI assistant for your whole household, not just one person. It keeps the family calendar, chores, bills, medications and appointments in one place, and when something needs doing it reminds the person responsible, not everyone. Each person has their own account and their own private chats.

What it keeps track of

• School and kids. Send a photo of a flyer or permission slip and the dates go on the calendar, with the task given to a parent.
• Health and care. Medications, refills and appointments. A dose that isn't marked goes to the person first, then to their caregiver.
• Money. Bills, due dates and subscriptions, with a flag when a price goes up. Daryl can read a budget you import. It never touches your bank accounts.
• Home. Filters, gutters, car service and other upkeep, using the sizes and dates in your home profile.
• Calendar. Everyone's schedule plus shared events. Ask it to move something and it tells each person affected.

What it never does

It never touches your bank accounts, messages anyone as you on its own, gives medical, legal or financial advice, listens in the background unless you turn on "Hey Daryl", or follows instructions from a website.

How much it does on its own

You choose. Suggest changes nothing until you tap. Act with undo, the default, makes the change and gives you an hour to undo it. Act makes the change and tells you after. You can set this per area in Settings.
