Kids and teens

Updated · 1 minute read

Daryl treats children and teens differently from adults. A child gets a simple Today with their jobs, what's next and bedtime, and no chat at all. A teen can chat, and gets a reminder to take a break after three hours of activity. Parents set both up.

What a child can do

Tick items on a shared list, see their day, and use stories and homework decks a parent started. Nothing a child does is used to train anything, and a child's data stays on Daryl's own servers.

What a teen can do

Chat, keep lists and reminders, and see their own calendar. A teen's share with the household waits for an adult's approval. Daryl reminds a teen it is an AI, not a person, and sends the break reminder itself.

What parents see

Counts and titles, not conversations: how many things a child did, which decks they used. A parent can pause a profile at any time from Settings › Household.
