Talk, type or send a photo

Updated · 1 minute read

You can tell Daryl something by typing, by talking, or by sending a photo. All three end the same way: Daryl makes the change, tells you what it did, and leaves an Undo. On the web, hold Space to talk; on a Mac, press Option-Command-D; on a phone or watch, tap the microphone.

Photos of paper

A school flyer, a bill, a letter from the dentist: take a photo and send it. Daryl reads the dates and tasks off it, adds them, and gives each task to a person. Changes from a photo can be undone for a day.

Asking for more than one thing

You can ask for several things in one message. Daryl handles them in order and tells you about each. If part of a request is unclear it asks about that part only.

Deep work

Start a message with /deep when you want Daryl to stop and think hard: a plan for the week, a letter, a decision with trade-offs. Deep work counts against your plan's monthly allowance; quick answers don't.
