iPhone and the web app

Updated · 1 minute read

Daryl runs on iPhone through the web app. Open getdaryl.com in Safari, tap Share, then Add to Home Screen. It opens full screen like an app, keeps the basics working offline, and can send notifications once you allow them in Settings › Notifications.

What works on the web

Everything in the app: chat, Today, lists, the calendar, pages, Log a meal from the camera, and Hold Space to talk on a keyboard. Voice on the phone uses the microphone button.

What's missing

There is no App Store app yet, so there is no default-assistant shortcut and no CarPlay. The web app covers the rest.

Questions

Is there an iPhone app?

Not yet. The web app installs to the home screen and covers the same features.
