Delete your data

You can take your data with you and then delete it. Export from the Me page gives you one file with your memories, profile, routines and records. Deleting is in Settings › Security for your account, and Settings › Household for the whole home.
What deleting a household does
Shared lists, events and notes are encrypted with a key that belongs to the household. Deleting the household destroys that key, so every shared row, and every backup of one, becomes unreadable.
What deleting your account does
Your own records, memory and chats are deleted on the schedule in the retention policy, and your devices are signed out. Other people's data in the household stays theirs.
