Plans and allowances
Updated · 1 minute read
Only two kinds of work are counted: deep work and errands. Chat, lists, notes, the calendar, reminders, timers, Today, pages and routines that only read and notify aren't counted on any plan. Each plan has a monthly allowance for the two kinds, and a task that fails doesn't count.
The plans
- Free, $0. 1 person. 5 deep work tasks and 10 errands a month. 1 bot that reads and notifies, 5 tasks a week.
- Personal, $24 a month (or $240 a year). 1 person. 50 deep work tasks and 80 errands a month. 15 bots, 150 bot tasks a week.
- Household, $69 a month (or $690 a year). Up to 6 people, each with their own account, plus 2 caregivers outside the home. 150 deep work tasks and 250 errands a month. 40 bots, 400 bot tasks a week.
- Household Plus, $149 a month (or $1490 a year). Up to 8 people, each with their own account, plus 3 caregivers outside the home. 450 deep work tasks and 700 errands a month. 100 bots, 1000 bot tasks a week.
What counts
- Deep work. A request Daryl answers by stopping to think hard: a plan for the week, a letter, a decision with trade-offs, or anything you start with /deep.
- Errands. One task Daryl finishes on a website or on your Mac: a form filled, an order checked, a booking made.
When you get near the end
At 80% of an allowance Daryl tells you once. At 100% it asks before doing more: wait for the 1st, add a pack, use your own model key, or move up a plan. Nothing is ever charged without you choosing it.
Questions
Are my chats counted?
No. Chat, lists, calendar, reminders, pages and routines that only read and notify are never counted.
Do failed tasks count?
No. A deep work task or errand that fails, stops before doing anything, or hands back to you is free.
